...Over guber hopeful's impregnating lover's ward.

It appears what the strident objections and passionate pleas of his wife couldn't achieve in his 'relationship' with Ogun state house of assemble member, Adijat Adeleye- the affectionate manoeuvres of Federal House of Representative member, Abiodun Akinlade is about to actualize it.

The guber hopeful in Ogun state is alleged to have impregnated a lady identified as Bimbo- the ward of his alleged mistress and passionate political supporter, Adijat.

Bimbo identified as one of the numerous ladies under the wings of Adijat is alleged to have refused to do away with the pregnancy based on pressure from Akinlade.

Informants claimed drama over Akinlade's effort to 'cover up' the deed- led to the news break that brought the incident to Adijat's notice.

She was tagged deeply hurt by the development.

The resultant effect of this disclosure is said to threatening their 'relationship'

Sources claim Adjat widely credited with helping Akinlade to attain great relevance in and out of office in Ogun state- as the co-ordinator of his political activities doesn't want the 'happenstance' to get any messier.

She is said to be working on media friends to tone down the affair- as she devises strategy to cut off from the House of Representative member with limited backlash.

Informants maintain 'they are definitely falling apart'

Akinlade who once stated categorically in a chat with societynowng.com that 'Hon  Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye  Oladapo  is my very good  friend and Confidant' refused to comment on the matter.

Same for Adijat tagged 'a very close friend of Akinlade's wife' before talks of her alleged affair with the guber hopeful hit town.

Before the latest episode tearing the state and federal law makers apart- Akinlade's wife had reportedly threatened and cajoled her hubby to cut off Adiat to no avail- a situation that allegedly placed the guber hopeful's marriage on a thing thread.

What the latest factor portend for his matrimony is not clear at press time.

*SACK 4000 STAFFERS IN A DAY

One of Nigeria financial institutions, Ecobank has bitten more than it can chew with the acquisition of Oceanic bank. The bank is presently swimming in crisis with its last Friday(17th February 2012) laid off of over 4000 staffers who are majorly that of Oceanic bank.

Those who should know alleged that the management of Ecobank pays the staffs of Ecobank handsomely and give less its counterpart staff of Oceanic bank less than half as salary. It was gathered that the sack of staffs on Friday made staffers of oceanic bank to protest both at its head office and that of Ecobank at Victoria Island.

Impeccable sources divulged that since the Human Resources Officer of Oceanic bank was sacked last year and Mrs. Ronke Wilson, Group Chief Human Resources Officer has taken charge it’s been another ball game as she is busy cleaning the bank of whoever is not in her good book not minding the efficiency or years of service of the person. it was gathered that the elderly woman was mob by the irate staffs when protesting of their sack.

An insider of the bank who preferred anonymity claimed that while staffs of oceanic bank are suffering that of Ecobank are smiling. He revealed that the same Friday that oceanic bank were sacked was the same day most of their own staffs were promoted to higher levels with more juicy offers in terms of salary and bonuses.

‘I don’t know why they acquired the bank, because the management has been punishing the staffs of oceanic bank. First it was 1500 staffs, now it 4000 and they gave the remaining ones the options of resigning or settle for 50% cut in their salaries and allowances. While they are going through all theses we are been given salary increment with promotions’ he revealed

Finding also revealed that Ecobank is ready to relieve other top executives of oceanic bank their duties and replace them with that of Ecobank in few weeks to come.

Bukky Wright & Fathia Balogun in Messy Romance with married men

All does not seem to be well between the Nollywood screen diva, Bukky Wright and Fathia Balogun.

The story in town is that these two actresses are no longer on talking terms and they avoid each other like plaque but nobody can figure out the real cause of this cold war between these screen divas. A source confirmed that there is also a rift which borders on superiority between them and that there can never be two captains in the same ship, and also that Fathia Balogun chose her friends and not the other way round and due to her no-nonsense attitude, she can’t maintain a cordial relationship with Bukky Wright.

She is equally a no-nonsense person and this has made things rather difficult for both of them. Ever since he sold “Omotara Johnson” which was produced by Bukky Wright, people are beginning to feel, there is more to this sudden relationship and have seen it as an attempt by Bukky Wright to hi-jack corporate picture boss from Fathia. Also Fathia is said to be equally uncomfortable with the sudden relationship, this is said to be one of the reasons these two celebrities avoid each other like a plaque. Besides further checks have it that both are secret lovers to the successful movie marketer and it was also gathered that the man at the centre of the storm has been satisfying them well both in cash and in kind.

It is on record that Fathia, controversially divorced her husband owing to the love affairs between him and the corporate picture boss.

For Bukky Wright she cannot be particularly traced to any man as her husband despite the media overkill she got in the recent time that she remarried. Investigations have it that she can do anything for money as she is persistently linked with a Lagos based socialite and drug baron, Bolaji Saheed.  Okorocha In Cold War With Deputy Gov Over Contract Awards

The controversies enveloping the Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha and his administration have continued to mount by the day as Huhuonline.com can authoritatively report that he is in a serious battle with the Deputy Governor of the state, Sir Jude Agbaso, over the latter's alleged abuse of the powers given to him by the Governor.

Though the cold battle between the duo is being managed by them from the prying eyes of the public, sources close to them informed Huhuonline.com that the Governor is angry with Sir. Agbaso, for awarding contracts without recourse to due process and the rules governing his office.

The Deputy Governor usurped the power to award contracts after he was allocated the Ministry of Works by the Governor for him to handle with his constitutionally accepted role in the government as the number two citizen of the state.

Our sources confirmed that Governor Okorocha, who has been denying having any amorous relationship with Nollywood actress, Nkiru Sylvanus, whom he appointed as the Special Adviser to the state government on Lagos Affairs, was said to have complained previously about how the Deputy Governor awarded and allocated contracts in the state.

If information filtering from one of Nigeria financial institutions, Skye bank is anything to go by, leadership tussle is currently rocking the bank as the Managing Director; Durosinmi Etti has shown four General Managers the door out of the bank for not been his loyalist.

Our investigation revealed that Kehinde Durosimi Etti started his hatred for those who are not his own by stripping Akinfemiwa, the former Managing Director of the bank off one of the bank’s properties, a two-wing duplex at Plot 302, at Jide Oki Street, Victoria Island, which he was using as office for his new business. An insider of the bank who preferred anonymity, alleged that this action among many others prompted Akinfemiwa boys to becoming rebels to Durosimi’ leadership.

Impeccable source divulged that immediately Durosinmi Etti settled in office, he relieved the likes of Kayode Akinyemi, the Corporate Affairs Head of the bank of his duties and was forced to resign. it was also revealed that General manager IT, Segun Akintele, Peter Olurunfemi, (Head, Aviation & Maritime), Kunle Adedigba,(Head - Organization Capability Group) and Sadiq Abubakar, (North West Regional Coordinator) all General Managers in the bank, got the axe as Durosinmi Etti  is set to do away with all managers that are not his loyalist especially those coming from Prudent Bank, one of the five banks that merged to form Skye bank. The banks that formed Skye banks are Prudent Bank, EIB International, Bond Bank, Cooperative Bank and Reliance Bank.

Those who should know alleged that the sack of the four GM was against the bank’s board’s recommendation but Etti went ahead daring the board.

Finding also revealed that the new Head of Brand Strategy, Mr. Tokunbo Adegboye may loose his job as the Managing Director, Kehinde Durosimi Etti has found out that he got the job thru a stakeholder in the defunct Prudent Bank who is not on his good book.  Tokunbo, who moved in from Cadbury Nigeria Plc was a Trade Marketing Manager after rising thru the ranks from being a Sales Training Manager.
